Code Of Conduct

Please take a moment to read this document below, then sign with your acknowledgement.

The purpose of this Code of Conduct or (CoC) is to establish a consistent expectation for parents, coaches, and volunteers behaviors & commitments both inside and outside the fields/gym while they are a member of the Stewart Co Rebels football and cheer program. This CoC applies within our facilities and during all practices, games, and competitions (local or travel). By signing this CoC you agree to the fallowing statements:

  • I understand that my child must participate in the jurisdiction of the school they currently attend. Ex: Stewart co kids play in Stewart co not Houston co
  • I will respect and show courtesy to all Stewart co Rebels members including all parents, coaches, athletes, and directors.
  • I will demonstrate good sportsmanship at all practices, games, and competitions by being supportive towards every child on all teams. Including opposing teams.
  • I will refrain from making any negative comments starting what would be deemed “gossip” or “rumors” towards any members of the Stewart co Rebels football and cheer program( including coaches, directors, athletes or even other parents) both in person or online.
  • I understand that all decisions made by directors and coaches are for the benefit of the TEAM and not the individual.
  • I understand that the programs directors and coaches will not be involved in ANY domestic or civil custody cases. If parents are divorced, both parents must each sign the same CoC. Any and all disputes between the parties will NOT flow into the Rebels program. I understand a release from the program cannot be given unless both parties agree on removal of the children and the rules do not change unless granted by the judicial system.
  • I understand that the coaches will be taking role call each practice. My child is on a demerit system. If my child receives 5 demerits cheerleaders will not compete at competition. Nor will football players start or possibly play in games there after. No refunds will be given.  It is your (as parents) responsibility to fulfill your obligations to the program. That being said illness, death in the family, and other extenuating circumstances are excluded. Notify coaches, and/or directors to let us know what’s going on.
  • I understand that my child is part of a team that travels for away football games and 1 cheer competition
  • I acknowledge that these trips are to be viewed as being a part of the team, which entails adhering to the schedule laid out by the directors and adjusting to the needs of the program
  • I will not exhibit any form of sexist, racist, homophobic, or otherwise inappropriate behavior. Period.
  • I understand that unpaid registration fees can be subject to penalties at the discretion of the directors of the Rebels program such as (but not limited to): late fees, no team uniform, my child sitting out, removal from the program with no refunds.
  • I will attend all mandatory parent meetings that the program directors or coaches deem necessary
  • If i cannot make a meeting due to legitimate reasons,i will give the teams coach ample notice and understand that it is my responsibility to get caught up on any information that was shared
  • I will refrain from foul language, violence, behavior deemed dishonest, offensive, or illegal both in person or online
  • I will not share or discuss team competition music, cheers, etc. With any other squads that the Rebel cheer squads will possibly compete against
  • I agree, to the best of my ability, to use the communication tools designated by the directors and coaches. Group me, via txt or email
  • If i disagree with a coach, my first response will be to send a message through the GROUP ME app or txt directly to the directors and ask to set up a meeting at a time that is convenient instead of approaching the coach. A coaches position is to coach the team. Directors are to handle all issues.
  • I understand there must be a 24 hr cool down period before any contact must be made to directors or coaches
  • If i disagree with a director for the Stewart co Rebels, my first response will be to send an email to (rebelsjrpro@gmail.com) and ask to set up a meeting at a time that is convenient for all directors together instead of approaching the coach or director directly or gossiping about my issue with other parents/athletes. Same 24 hr cooldown applies
  • I will obey all rules and parental codes of conduct set forth by the governing bodies of the sport to include Tri-County Jr Pro Program.
  • I understand that if i violate this CoC, there will be an immediate mandatory meeting. NO warnings will be given, and my child and i will be subject to disciplinary action such as (but not limited to): removal from the program without refund, no return policy, no release given, monetary fines, suspensions, apology letters, etc.
  • Every parent; will participate a minimum of 2 hours volunteer work. Can range from: running chains, concessions, working gate, fundraising events , cleaning up facilities before and after games, events, etc.
  • Cheer is required at games, and football coaches and players should show same respect to comp.
