SCSA Bylaws
Understanding Our Foundation
Before diving into the details, we encourage all parents and guardians to review the Stewart County Soccer Association Bylaws. This document serves as our league’s official roadmap, outlining how we govern our seasons, ensure fair play, and maintain a safe, positive environment for every athlete. By clicking the link below, you’ll find information regarding our organizational structure, board responsibilities, and the core principles that help us bring the best soccer experience to the youth of Stewart County.
Getting Started With Soccer
Each child will receive a game jersey.
You will need to provide the following items:
- Shin guards
- Tall socks – Any color, tall enough to cover shin guards
- Soccer cleats – Athletes will not be permitted to wear baseball or football cleats unless the toe cleat is removed.
- Optional: Practice ball – We encourage each family to have a soccer ball to bring to practice and use at home. Recommended ball sizes:
- Age 3-4 – size 3
- Age 5-11 – size 4
- Age 12+ – size 5
- Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
